My name is Chris and I can't stop. I drive a "stock" '13 STi and call her Megs. I like to reblog cars, action sports and stuff. But mainly stuff.

"Fearless" Felix Baumgartner is the 1st human to break the speed of sound without an aircraft. In 2012, he jumped from a capsule in space, 24 miles above New Mexico. He fell for over 4 minutes at 833 mph before he could open his parachute, then landed perfectly on his feet. Source

Uterus, I do not understand your need to have a baby. We cannot afford a baby. I do not want a baby. Hell you wouldn’t even be happy if we had a baby. I find these temper tantrums you throw every month we don’t have a baby absolutely unacceptable.

I can’t believe it’s been almost three years since the day I picked up the Subie. I couldn’t have asked for a better car. I learned how to drive stick on this car, I made the move from Vermont to Florida in this car. She has been reliable as hell the whole time through, and every time I get in it puts a smile on my face just like the first time I drove her.

looks awesome, love the B4 badging on the grille

Still hella jelly bout the Perrin TMIC….

Don’t be haha, the Perrin sucks. I can’t tell you how many times I had to pull it off and adjust it. Plus man I have way more things to be jelly about on your Spec lol

Saved for later.

Damn, those dtc-70s have twice the friction my old HPSs had and at twice the temperature. That’s crazy. I’m assuming they’re super expensive race only products.

Yes, look at the temp range, you’re going to have to ride your brakes all the way to work
They don’t even work under 300 hahaha

Do racers have to do a couple brake stands before the race to warm them up or are they usually going hard enough to get them up to temp at the first corner?

I’m somewhat kidding about not working at all… the thing is they will heat up fast but you have to apply hard, one or two good braking zones is enough to get pads like this up to temp.  But this is not like braking to a stoplight lol

It takes lots and lots of hard braking to get racing brakes up to temperature. That’s why morning warm ups can be helpful! If you go out on the track with cold brakes, be prepared to have no brakes at all.

This is awesome! There needs to be more information like this more readily available for people.

i dont even remember what pads i have haha.
